Egyptian Man Costume

This is a very original costume that could easily double as a pharaoh costume. It is actually given the title Egyptian man costume but I imagine he would have to be a fairly high ranking or wealthy man, maybe connected to the royal family or such like. Maybe he was an architect in charge of building the pyramids or the Sphinx.

Whatever he was, this would make a fun costume for a Halloween party. It has all the elements to make it a fine costume for such an event. It is highly unique and quite stylish too. You are sure to get many compliments wearing such and outfit.

The costume consists of a deep blue tunic. As you can see in the picture, the tunic goes to just above the knees and has short sleeves. It is finished with gold trim around the arms. The collar has a elaborately printed design and there is a print of Egyptian styled pendant or necklace on the chest.

There is also a wide gold belt and brown ruffled drape. The belt hangs down in the middle and has an ornate Egyptian inspired design on the front. There are matching gold colored armbands that can be placed around the wrists or forearm.

The finishing touch to the costume is the headpiece that is similar to the design found on the death mask of Tutankhamen. It has the blue and gold horizontal pattern and fits over the head and down to the shoulders. This is the most distinctive part of the costume and everyone that see you will get that you are some ancient Egyptian dude, maybe a Pharaoh or a priest or such like.

This costume comes in a range of sizes from small to extra large. You can add a few extras to make the costume really stand out. Firstly you could apply Egyptian style makeup, especially round the eyes. You could also get a staff, as featured in the picture. Wear a scarab beetle ring and other accessories to complete the look.

This type of costume could be paired with the Cleopatra costume or another Egyptian queen or woman themed costume if you are a couple.
